Farm Share #8, Fish Share #7
Jul. 25th, 2012 10:25 am19 July was a lovely day to harvest; not too hot, nice breeze. I harvested squash, eggplant, peppers.
1 red cabbage,
3 cucumbers,
1 green squash,
1 yellow squash,
3 green peppers,
1 Asian eggplant,
1 black bell eggplant,
3/4# beets,
1 bag shiso (Japanese herb),
3/4# basil,
12 stems green kale,
Take some: tomatillos, hot peppers, okra
This week's fish: striped bass. Yummy with a light marinade of fresh herbs from the farm, lemon juice, garlic, and canola oil.
